Birding & Mammal Watching Tour
Mongolia’s vast wilderness—stretching from the snow-capped Altai Mountains to the arid Gobi Desert—offers some of the most spectacular wildlife experiences in Asia. Its pristine landscapes are home to a rich diversity of mammals, including Snow Leopard, Pallas’s Cat, Saiga Antelope, Mongolian Gazelle, and Argali, as well as an abundance of birdlife.
Our birding and mammal watching tours are designed to explore these remarkable habitats while providing expert guidance, comfortable travel, and opportunities to experience Mongolia’s breathtaking scenery, unique wildlife, and traditional nomadic culture.
Vehicle: We use Toyota Land Cruiser 4WD vehicles, with some long drives on both paved and dirt roads between sites. To ensure our clients’ comfort, each vehicle carries a maximum of three passengers.
Accommodation: In Ulaanbaatar, we will stay in a modern hotel. Outside the city, accommodations will be either traditional yurt camps (known as “ger” in Mongolia) or our own camping tents, depending on the location.
Climate: In June, temperatures can be quite warm, ranging from 20°C to 35°C. Cooler conditions can be expected at higher altitudes, and rain is possible at almost any time.
